All Parks Ahead is the planning file for one long road trip through every national park in the Lower 48, published so anyone can use it for their own trip, long or short.

How the Route Is Built

The park list and pacing come from our master roadbook. Road distances and drive times are routed on OpenStreetMap data with OSRM (last run 2026-10-19) between the town where you sleep at each park. Trip days assume two nights per park and no more than eight hours of driving a day.

Seasons, road openings, fees and ferry schedules change every year. We link each park's official page; treat it as the final word.

How This Site Makes Money
